Ready to try scuba diving for the first time? We’ll teach you the basics—how the equipment works, how to breathe and equalize underwater, and a few simple safety skills. Then, under the direct supervision of a certified PADI professional, you’ll dive up to 12 meters (40 feet) and explore the underwater world of Costa Rica.
You'll gain confidence as you practice essential skills with your instructor, preparing you for an unforgettable ocean adventure.

→ One-Day Option (Price: $175)
Learn the theory and equipment basics onboard as we head to the Catalina Islands. Once there, you’ll enter calm, shallow waters to practice diving skills before heading out for two ocean dives guided by your instructor.
→ Two-Day Option ( Price: $190)
Start your training in the pool the day before your dives, learning how to use the gear and practicing your skills in a relaxed environment. The next day, you’ll review theory onboard and complete two ocean dives with your instructor.

Tour Meeting & Logistics

We’ll meet at the dive shop in Playa Tamarindo at 6:40 AM to complete paperwork and get all the equipment you need.

Our boat departs from Playa Tamarindo, followed by a 40-minute boat ride to the Catalina Islands.

You can expect to be back on shore around 1:00 PM.
